Grandma Magic!

Do you know how to make pasta?

If you're like me, you go to the grocery store. Buy a package of pasta and a jar of pasta sauce and bring them home. Drop the pasta into boiling, hot water. Heat the sauce in a pan or the microwave. Pour the cooked pasta into a bowl. Stir in the warm sauce. Grate Parmesan cheese on top. Slice some bread. And serve.

That might work…

But if you wanted to make "Oh-My-God-This-Is-So-Amazing" pasta, you'd have to do a lot more than pour store-bought sauce over some store-bought pasta. You'd have to invite grandma to come over and cook.

What makes Grandma's pasta so amazing?

Well, unlike you and me, Grandma insists on making her pasta from scratch using the freshest ingredients. She's willing to spend long hours standing over a hot stove to make her own sauce using the vine-ripened tomatoes, onions, garlic, and seasonings she bought at the market this morning.

Grandma puts her heart into everything she prepares, because she knows she's cooking for family. But even if she gave you her recipe. You still don't stand a chance of making your pasta taste as amazing as Grandma's.

The only way to even get close to making Grandma's amazing pasta is to go to her house. Stand next to her in her kitchen. And ask Grandma to show you how to make her pasta...her way.

Why would Grandma's pasta win any taste test, hands down?

Because she doesn't just know the recipe, she knows how to take a simple pasta dish and elevate it. Creating unscripted videos people are excited to see, and tell their friends and family about, is a lot like making pasta. Both start with a recipe but leave room for inspiration, spontaneity and experience.

Grandma doesn't just toss a few ingredients into a pan. Stir them a couple of times and hope her pasta tastes good. She has a Purpose, a Process, and an Expectation.

Do you?

If you're just throwing clips on a timeline. Dropping stock shots into a template. And laying in library music. Your recipe really needs to change. Maybe it's time to stop pouring store-bought sauce over store-bought pasta, and start making your pasta from scratch.

Everything Grandma does in her kitchen is based on time-tested recipes and principles passed down by her mother. Her recipe is so simple.

It's just...

Freshness + Time + Seasoning + Love + Understanding = Grandma Magic!

That’s a recipe for more than pasta.
